The Four Seasons inspired by Vivaldi

Vivaldi Summer
The concerto Summer explores the changes in mood and nature, from the initial intense heat and sounds of nature to the dramatic transition to a storm. I instantly envisioned ocean waves crashing and spraying water passionately. The ocean symbolizes power, strength, and vastness, but also mystery, endlessness, and calmness. Since humans are mostly water, aren't we little oceans ourselves carrying the same within ourselves?

Vivaldi Spring
Vivaldi has a joyful depiction of the arrival of spring, with the music representing the sounds of birds, murmuring streams, and a storm.
I wanted to depict what I heard in the music in the form of brush strokes, and evoke the imagination of birds singing and the sound of rushing water.
It is a time of year that we wake up! Everything seems possible. We began to flow with life like a stream.

Vivaldi Autumn
In the music Vivaldi creates a moment where the village is celebrating harvest . He also creates a mood of rest that is well deserved. In the end there is a hunt with riders on horse and barking dogs. In this painting I chose sunflowers to be my subject matter. It is a flower that grows to significant heights. It is a flower seen in decor in autumn. Sunflowers symbolically represent positivity, happiness, loyalty, and adoration ,which we all wish to possess .The fog represents a protection of self. The fog cloaks gently keeping us safe from the harsh realities of life. It is Autumn let us rest from it all.

Vivaldi Winter
In the music Vivaldi was brilliantly portraying the bleakness of winter. He created the feeling of a warm fire that really reaches your souls on days like this. In this painting I tried to find the quiet in the cold. There is also a bleakness with a delicate color trying to break through in the woods. There is a loneliness yet peacefulness contrasting in a mood I was feeling the day I painted it.
